Description
All day consultation appointments with specialists from marketing development, financial institutions, record keeping, and other farming resources. Workshops include (1) Crops for Profit; (2) Farm Business and Financial Planning; (3) Certified Farming; (4) Getting Started with Livestock; (5) land Access; (6) Farm Surfing-Making the Web Work for You; (7) Soil Health; (8) Agritourism and more. Workshops, panels and consultations with Megan Bruch Leffew from the Center for Profitable Agriculture, Debbie Stepp Ball from the Tennessee department of Agriculture, Ken Givens, former Commissioner Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture, and David Bilderback from UT Institute of Agriculture, and more. Keynote Speaker is Jennifer Nicely from Riverplains Farm.
