Description
The Milligan Orchestra, directed by Professor of Music Dr. Kellie Brown, will conclude its season with a spring concert celebrating the sounds and colors of music from around the world, including Japan, Egypt, and France. Guest artists include the Appalachian State University's 35-member guitar orchestra performing works by Spanish and Italian composers. As a special 10-year celebration, 'Genesis' -- a work commissioned and premiered by the orchestra in 2006 from internationally renowned composer Kenton Coe -- will have a special reprise performance.
